diet failed

Oh my goodness, it is SO hard to go on a diet.
I was doing really well. I was exercising with Jilian Michaels and eating healthy. And then I quit. I had to stop the work outs because it was making my back pain worse. AND it's really hard to find the 20 minutes for the work out. :/ Even though I do find time to eat. lol
I LOVE food. Specially the bad stuff. ARG.
What do you guys do to diet? Do you diet? Do you eat healthy?
My weaknesses are soda, chocolate, and coffee. lol

gray gray go away...

Soooo, I have gray hair. Lots of it. Keep in mind, I have black hair, so the gray is very visible. I've had gray hair since high school. It's crazy. People say it's because of stress, but it's not. It's hereditary. So alas, I've been doomed since birth. lol
It never bothered me, but lately it started getting to me. Maybe because I am getting closer to be being 30? I don't know.
Either way, I've been thinking of dying my hair again. I used to do it with my hair dresser, but I cannot afford it. It's way too much $$. So then I did it at home once. It turned out ok. I need 2 boxes though. Which is expensive but cheaper than going to my hair dresser. lol
So alas, I think I have talked my hubby into helping me dye it. Now to decide on a color. I may just stick to black. It's easier to keep up with it that way.
Do you have grays? If so, do you cover it up?

Monday Madness! Midtown Doll

We are planning on taking a much needed vacation soon. Our favorite thing to do is spend time together and just get away from everything. This will be our first vacation as a family of 4! Little Man has been asking for one thing for the last few months - Disney World. SO God opened the doors and made it possible for us to take a few days off to go to Orlando. I am super excited! Of course the boys needed something special to wear when they meet Mickey Mouse. So I went on a search for the perfect outfit. I found the perfect item at Midtown Doll. I got little man a red polo shirt with the Mickey Mouse head and his initials. AND baby boy will be wearing red gingham shortalls with the Mickey Mouse applique and his initials. And guess what? The other day I found a red tank top with white polka dots for me. :) Midtown Doll has some pretty amazing items. Check out her store here. I love all her Minnie Mouse outfits. But they are way too small for me. lol

Polka Dots and Flowers Pillowcase Dress - $20
TIE SHIRT AND SHORTS SET - $18
Minnie Peasant Top Set - $33

This was specially made for my boys. Can't wait to see them wearing it!

9 Months

Where have the last 9 months gone? Baby Boy is 9 months old already. He's growing so fast. I can't believe it. He is crawling all over the place. He loves to pull up on stuff and is attempting to walk. As of right now I am his favorite person. But his 2nd favorite person is his big brother. He loves him so much and totally looks up to him. It's adorable. He loves food. He can't see me eating and he goes nuts over it. He is dying to eat my food. lol
He's got the chunkiest legs and cheeks.
He's always happy and smiling, unless he's tired or dirty or hungry. lol
I am so thankful that I get to be his mommy. I love being a mom and feel so blessed with both my boys.

ZOO Fun!

The weather has been amazing here. Not too hot, not too cold... And a perfect breeze. This week my twin sis and I decided to take the kiddos to the Zoo. I haven't been in years and I just knew little man would really enjoy it. So we packed a picnic lunch and went. Little Man had A BLAST! He loved seeing everything. I wish we could have stayed longer but pushing a double stroller w 2 heavy kids and an injured right wrist is not an easy task. We stayed til after 1. I thought that was pretty good. lol
There were a lot of fun animals, but the best part was the dinosaur exhibit. Little man LOVED it!!! His favorite was the T-Rex. lol
Ever since I had baby boy I have avoided going out by myself w both boys. BUT today I realized little man needs that time with me and his brother. AND he needs to have fun trips. I really enjoyed myself too. I love doing fun activites with the kids. I also enjoyed spending time with my niece and my sister. The kids always have fun together!
All in all, it was a great day and we made great memories. My favorite part was when Little Man thanked me several times for his dinosaurs I bought him. It was so sweet and genuine. He has been playing with them ever since we got home!

Looking at the gators.
Mesmerized by the giraffes

Monday Madness! Kid Kovers

I LOVE to shop online. It is so much fun. And it can be dangerous because it is easy to overspend. I needed a beach towel for baby boy. And you know me, it needed to be personalized. So I went on a search for it. Where do I start my search? Etsy of course!!! Etsy has so many amazing stores. But I found Kid Kovers and LOVED her beach towels. She is truly talented! It was so hard to choose which fabric I wanted on the towel and when I told her what colors I was looking for, she immediately sent me pictures with different samples. She color coordinated and matched everything the exact way I wanted it. AND she made sure to check with me to see if that's what I wanted. I was so impressed with her communication skills and her talent! I highly recommend you take a look and do some shopping at Kid Kovers! AND guess what? Shop with her now and she will give you 10% off your purchase. Just enter the code "MPM10OFF" when you check out. Isn't that awesome? Go for it!!!

Perfect Pantry

I finally got the shelves I wanted for my pantry. My pantry is pretty decently sized, but I have been buying a lot of things and stocking my pantry up, so I quickly ran out of room. Plus the baby food takes up space too. SO, I find these shelves at Wal Mart and it was only $17. So I got it! Little Man and I assembled it together and I hung it up. It's a great way to add storage space. Needless to say it's mainly for the kids' food. I thought about getting this for my other closet in the hallway so I can store all my crafts. It's a great and cheap way for extra storage.

Family Weekend

This past weekend we spent doing NOTHING! We did go to the mall to pick up a few things. But other than that, we just chilled out. I played with the boys, spent some alone time with my little man while baby boy napped, and I got some organizing done.
I love weekends like this. Sometimes it's nice to just chill out and spend time together doing nothing. :)

I do have a small "to do" list for my hubby and we need to work on the yard. But this weekend was perfect for total relaxation!

What's your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
