When I came across this store on Etsy, I totally fell in love with it. Infinite Whimsy has the cutest jewelry and she is so affordable. I got a beautiful set - a necklace and earrings. And when I received the package in the mail, I had a surprise! She sent an extra gift which was another set of earrings with black stones. I love them! I wear black a lot so I am often wearing those earrings. Every time I wear her jewelry I get tons of compliments and people constantly asking me where I got them. Toesies!

A couple of weekends ago we went out and got little man his first pair of flip flops. I was always scared to buy him flip flops bc I am terrified of him falling down while walking in them. Well, he's been doing really well in them. He does lose them here and there and we have to keep an eye on him. But I just love the whole summer look with his flip flops. It's so cute! Of course I had to take a picture of this and make a memory! :) I love wearing flip flops all summer long! Now little man will wear his all summer long too. lol

Art Project - ROAR!

I try to do some art projects w little man and the other day we made a lion! We had sooo much fun. I used a paper plate for the head and had him color it yellow and orange. I had those googly eyes and put them on there. Then I drew the nose and mouth. I had orange and yellow tissue paper and cut it up to use as a mane. It was so much fun! We've done other fun projects and I love it! But his favorite is painting with his paint set. What do you do for art projects with your little ones?

Baby Belly

Baby boy sure is growing in here. He is also very active! Which is great. Last week he was not moving much at all and we actually ended up in the ER to make sure everything was ok w him. We are all fine. He was just overly quiet. lol We are getting everything ready for him. Doing spring cleaning around the house and yard... And trying to do the finishing touches on the nursery. SOOO much needs to be done. My sister, friend and mother in law are throwing me a shower next weekend and I can't wait. They are working extra hard to make it super special for me. :)

A Great Investment

We bought our 3 year old this LeapFrog video a while ago and he loved it! Not only is it entertaining, but it is also very educational. He learned all his letters because of this video. We were watching it 10x a day. Seriously, it got addictive for him. Well, we lost the video which was a total nightmare. So for Easter I got him a package of 3, it has the Letter Factory, Word Factory, and a going to School Video. They are all great and fun. My son has been so into these and I really like it because they are extremely educational. He is learning a LOT! I am impressed. I do school work with him at home - but lately I haven't had a lot of energy and I've been slacking. :/ Hopefully next week we can get back to a regular schedule. If you have toddlers at home, I totally recommend these LeapFrog videos!

Fun at the Beach!

Have you guys noticed what gorgeous weather we are having? It is so awesome! We decided to take little man for some much needed family time at the beach. He LOVES the beach. He and his daddy played in the sand and built sand castles. Then they went in the water. I just love seeing them interact. Papa Bear is such a good daddy. He works so hard for all of us and yet can still take the time to play and have fun with his son. He has always dreamnt of the day he would be a father to a son and now he gets 2 boys! He is so anxious and excited about being a daddy to 2 sons.

YUMMY Breakfast

I've been trying to make breakfast for my son and I to eat and then hubby takes the leftovers for his breakfast the next day to work. SO today I made belgium waffles. I have a belgium waffle maker and I LOVE IT! I usually make plain waffles and slice up bananas on top. But you can use any fruit for toppings. My hubby likes me to make it with chocolate chips.
If you like waffles and don't have one of these nifty machines, you should totally invest in one, if you can! It makes the yummiest breakfast!

Weekend Plans

This weekend I want to take some time and get hubby to work on the yard. He says he is not doing yard work but we need to. We have got to put some flowers in our yard. I saw some hydrangeas the other day and totally fell in love with it. I would love to get some for my yard! I have to talk him into it though. hehehe.

My dad painted the exterior of our house about a year ago and it looks amazing, now all we need is to do a little landscaping.

Baby Bump

Look at the baby bump! I cannot believe we are more than halfway through this pregnancy. Only a few more months. Time flies! This pregnancy went by way more quickly than the first one. It's been a totally different pregnancy. But since it's my last, I am trying to enjoy every minute of it. There are days that I will miss being pregnant, but then there are those other days where I miss fitting into my clothes or being able to do certain thing. I do like being spoiled though. lol My hubby takes good care of me regardless, but when I am pregnant, he doesn't let me do much of anything. It's very sweet. He said my only job is to take care of our 3 year old son and to grow the other one. hehehe.

Baby is ready for football!

Yesterday I had a super special package delivered. My husband's cousin sent this for baby boy. I am a HUGE Colts fan. Eventhough I do not and have never lived in Indy - I just fell in love with the team. :)

Let me start from the beginning. When I first got married, I HATED football. But the hubby loved it. He played in high school and some arena football. SO I had to learn to like it. He told me to pick a team I like so I could enjoy it. Well, he thought I'd pick our local team, however, they suck, so I started watching games and just fell in love with Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning and the Colts. People say I am on the bandwagon, however, I have been a fan for years now. SO i think it will stick. lol

Anyway, hubby's cousin used to live in Indy and we even visited them and the Lucas Oil stadium once. It was awesome eventhough I only got to see the outside. :/ However, she knows how much I love the team and sent me some super cute goodies for baby boy. I am so excited. Now he is ready for football season. :)

I went through Etsy looking for a special baby shower present. I needed to find something purple with whales. And guess what??? I found it at NicoleandFrancesca. I was super excited. I got a burp cloth/bib set with purple whales. I fell in love with it! I immediately convoed her and got the set. I got it in the mail a few days later. The quality of her work is AMAZING! Happy Easter!

Just wanted to wish you guys a HAPPY EASTER! I have had so much fun planning for Easter. I made candy bags for my kids at church (I teach Sunday School). I am also making Easter baskets for both boys. :) I went out and got s bunch of treats for little man today. Baby boy will just get an outfit. BUT they are both getting a stuffed Easter bunny. I just love making little treats for the boys. I got little man something he needed and some cars.
For Easter we are going to church in the morning and then will have a delicious home-made lunch with family: steak and shrimp. YUM! I can't wait!

RIP Fish

Our family has suffered a loss this week. Last year we purchased a beta fish for our little boy and this week it died. I was so sad. Not because it died, but because I realized that soon I will not be able to protect my boy from heartache. Right now all we are going to do is replace the fish. He hasn't even noticed that the bowl is empty - I left it filled with water. But I told my hubby, that yea, now it's easy, we can replace the fish. But what happens when a loved one passes away? I guess I am just not ready for my boy to hurt. I am not ready for him to deal with the hardships of life. But alas, there is not much I can do about it. So for now, I will do what I can to keep him happy. This weekend we will go get a replacement fish. Here is a picture of little man with his first fish.
