Happy Birthday Nate!

My little brother turned 18 this week. I cannot believe it. Time goes by so fast. Being that I am 10 years older than him, I remember a lot of his childhood. I helped my mom out a lot with taking care of him. I still remember seeing him in the hospital. He was such a chunky monkey. And now he is this tall, skinny young man. He will start college this fall and I know he has great things ahead of him!

We got the kids a little play pool and set up our little backyard beach. My 3 year old LOVED it. He and his daddy had so much fun. I sat in the chair because I can't go swimming yet. Baby boy and I just chilled out on the chair. It was such a great afternoon. I LOVE watching my hubby playing with his sons. He always tells me that he always dreamt of having sons, and now he has 2. He is such a great daddy. They sure had fun playing in the water!!!

It is so easy to fall in love with this super cute store! Gumdrop Grove has tons of super cute outfits for boys and girls. I got the cutest blue and white romper for babyboy and I can't wait for him to wear it. I am actually planning on putting it on him for our first Sunday back to church. AND big brother had a white and blue outfit to wear that will match. And of course, I have a blue dress. lol Now I just gotta talk the hubby into wearing blue. hehehe. I love matching and color coordinating. The quality of the outfit is outstanding! I was so impressed with the care and love that was put into each stitch. Where does time go?

It feels like only yesterday I was pregnant for the first time with my 3.5 year old son. Time goes by so fast. Now we are getting ready to put him in pre-k. I am not ready for that. I told my mom that I was going to sit outside the door the whole first day and cry. lol I am a big time crier. I cry at EVERYTHING. I know it will be good for him. We've been blessed with the opportunity of putting him in school at our church so it won't be as bad. BUT he and I have been inseperable since he was born. The only time we've been apart is when I had the second baby. And that was torture on both of us. lol BUT I know it's good for him. He needs this time to socialize. AND he loves to learn. I've been teaching him a lot and he soaks it all up like a sponge. I know he will be well taken care of and will have a blast! Also, he is only going part time so it won't be as bad. These kids sure do grow up fast, don't they?

1 Month

Baby Boy turned 1 month olf this past weekend. I cannot believe it. Time flies when you're having fun! He is changing so much. He recognizes our voices and stares at you. He is so sweet and amazing. I made him cupcakes to celebrate his 1 month birthday. We enjoyed them for him. lol

Afternoon Showers

Every summer we have several afternoon storms! I really enjoy them as long as I am indoors. I also don't like the lightning. BUT I do love to hear the rain. We've had several wild storms here these last few days. This afternoon, the skies got really dark and it rained for a good while. AND what is the best thing to do during a storm? NAP! :) I love taking naps during a storm. I got some much needed rest. I am so thankful the boys took a nap so that I could catch up on sleep. lol

When I saw this Etsy store I went crazy. She has SOOOO many cute clothes. She is a seamstress that loves to sew for children and babies. When you go to her store, if you do not see anything you like contact her and she will work with you to make your baby or child a special outfit. YUMMY

I made this DELICIOUS dinner. It was SO good. I had to force myself to stop eating. lol I used thin spaghetti. Then I sauteed small pieces of tomatoes with olive oil and italian seasoning. Once the pasta was cooked I mixed the tomatoes with the pasta. I also made chicken strips and put swiss cheese on top with more of the tomato mixture. Oh my, it was so good! I was going to make garlic bread but I didn't feel like it. lol Anyway, I was very impressed with myself because it was an easy dinner and came out so good. :)

Mommyhood

I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE being a wife and mommy. I've always dreamed of marrying my prince charming and having children. And now here I am - living the dream. :) Baby boy is perfect from head to toe! Big brother is totally enjoying him too. I love being a family of 4! I feel so complete - my heart is soooo full of joy and love. I love my boys - I love being a mom of boys. No matter how many sleepless nights (there have been many) I go through, I am extremely thankful for this opportunity. I am so thankful that I get to be a mom to these 2 very special boys! My favorite part is in the mornings when I get to cuddle with both of them. It's so sweet!

When I found this store on Etsy I totally fell in love. She has the CUTEST girl clothes I have ever seen. I convoed her and she was the nicest person to work with. She made a smock outfit for me and I got it in the mail in no time. The quality of her work is AMAZING! Happy 4th of July

Just wanted to wish everyone a HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! I am so thankful to be part of this amazing nation. I love the USA and love being an American. Being that I am still recovering from my c-section, we will stay put for the holidays. I may talk the hubby into taking us to see fireworks. How about you? What are your plans for the Holiday?
