McD's Smoothie

Have you guys tried the smoothies from McDonalds? I had not tried any of them. I love smoothies and we usually make strawberry smoothies at home.

But when I saw McDs had a mango/pineapple flavor, I knew I had to try it! I had it over the weekend and really enjoyed it. It's very refreshing and very yummy! Mango is one of my absolute favorite fruits.

If you haven't tried it, go for it when you get a chance! Let me know what you think. :)

Happy Birthday Bro!

I cannot believe I do not have any pictures with my brother. 0_0 Up until recently he hated taking pictures. lol
Anyway, today is my "little" brother's birthday. He is turning 19. I cannot belive that. I still remember the day he was born. I was almost 10. My grandpa watched my sister and I while my mom was in the hospital. The first time I saw him, he was this huge, chunky baby boy. All I saw was cheeks and thighs and lots of rolls. lol Now he is this tall, skinny dude who towers over me. I am so proud of him and all his accomplishments. He is a very intelligent man. I hope that he accomplishes all his dreams and goals. Happy Birthday bro!

Monday Madness! Art Recycles

In planning baby boy's circus party, I thought it would be cute to have pinwheels displayed as well. Pinwheels are fun and the kids enjoy them! SO I got some really cute ones that were used for decorations from ArtRecycles. They have hand crafted, one-of-a-kind organizers and gifts that play on nature and childhood memories. Rich in color and full of surprises, their work is often a new variation of an old idea, and when possible, created with recycled or reused materials.

Baby Shower

This past weekend I threw my sister's baby shower. I LOVED every second of it. The shower was on Saturday morning and we had brunch. On Friday night my amazing husband helped me clean the hosue and get the house ready. I have never seen so much pink and zebra print put together. lol This will most likely be my only pink party, so I enjoyed every second of it! My wonderful mother in law made all the yummy food. She is so sweet and wonderful for helping me. My sister's mother in law made a very yummy chocolate cake. We had a blast and my sister got a lot of goodies!

Monday Madness! Vintage Fusion

Lately I have been interested in custom jewelry. I'm trying to improve on my look. lol SO I figured some nice jewelry would be perfect! I found Vintage Fusion and fell in love!!! She has the most amazing pieces. I got 2 cocktail rings - one of them has a pearl in the middle with rhinestones around it and the other is a dark blue one with black accents. They are both gorgeous! Upcoming Baby Shower

You know I have my sister's baby shower this weekend. It's a lot of work to throw a nice baby shower! I like paying attention to small details and going all out. But going all out on a tight budget is very hard. Thankfully I found a lot of things at the dollar store, Target and of course Etsy! I have always wanted to have cake pops in my parties. Since I LOVE the theme of this shower, I figured a zebra print cake pop would be super cute. Being that I am not a baker, I looked for it on etsy and found it. Aren't they super cute? I think I am ready for the shower. I just need to get the food. Thankfully my mother in law is a great cook and has volunteered to do the food. She loves my sister like a daughter and she is going to help me out by providing the food. My sister LOVES brunch, so we are serving brunch food. Pictures to come! :)

Proud to be an American

In honor of the 4th and my upcoming citizenship ceremony this month, hubby got me this gift. I got an American flag for my yard. :) I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but I love it! I love being an American and showing off my pride!

Where we spent our 4th of July!

Our 4th of July

This is how we started our 4th of July day. :) It was a beautiful sunny day and perfect for the beach. We went with my parents, and my sister and her family. My dad and baby boy have a special bond - he immediately took baby boy to the water....

Little man LOVES to play in the sand. He had so much fun!


Our camp out! We eventually want to get a canopy. Wal Mart had some great sales on them but we just couldn't afford it this month...

Our day ended downtown where daddy and little man lit sparklers. He had so much fun.

Baby boy had a blast too!
