Bon Appetit! Monday

It is 23 degrees over here today. Way too cold for Fl. Today is the perfect weather for soup and hot chocolate. I found this recipe that I just am dying to try.

Rich 'N Thick Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
1 cup water
2 (1 ounce) squares BAKER'S Unsweetened Baking Chocolate
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Place water and chocolate in heavy medium saucepan; cook on low heat until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring constantly with wire whisk. Add sugar; mix well.
Bring to boil on medium-high heat. Boil 3 min., stirring constantly. Gradually add milk, stirring with wire whisk until well blended. Stir in vanilla. Reduce heat to medium.
Cook until mixture is heated through, stirring occasionally.

Hi from Bradenton Florida. The hot chocolate recipe sounds great and perfect for this weather. It was 22 degrees when I got up at 7 this morning, way too cold for my thin, tropical blood.
We can always recognize our snowbirds, they're the ones wearing shorts and tank tops when the rest of us are bundled up in jackets, knitted caps, and woolen gloves. LOL Our paper is saying we should start seeing warmer weather fairly soon. In the meantime stay warm. Think I'm going to try out that hot chocolate recipe.
