Baby Watch

Oh boy! I thought for sure this baby would have been born by now. lol This week has been somewhat stressful. I keep trying to stay on top of things, laundry, dishes, cleaning, stocking up the fridge and pantry... I want to make sure everything is done before I leave for the hospital. I keep thinking this week is it. Or maybe it's me being hopeful. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being pregnant. I've enjoyed every minute of it. But towards the end, I have been miserable. I can't sleep, can't eat, I go potty about every 40 mins, my lower back is killing me, now I am having leg pains, AND to top it all off our weather here has been over 100 degrees. 0_0 THAT IS INSANE!
Yesterday was such a hot day that hubby and I decided for a while we are to stay home w the boys. Can you imagine going anywhere w a newborn in this scorching heat? Well, I am one of those crazy moms that doesn't go out w the baby until they are almost 2 months old. hahaha. I am very cautious about where we go and what we do until I am ready.

Meanwhile, my bags are packed, my batteries are charged, the nursery is ready and we are counting down the days to meet our precious little boy!

There are so many great finds on Etsy! And DaisyKDesigns is definetly one of them! I wanted to find a personalized boppy cover and I did! I was so excited. I wanted lime green and black to match with the nursery and guess what? She went out and got the material needed to make it for me. :) It came out GREAT! I was very impressed with her customer service and the quality of her work. As soon as I got it in the mail I put it on the boppy pillow and I love it! The nursery

It is almost time for baby boy to make his grand entrance. The nursery is pretty much finished - there are some odds and ends missing but we are working on it. We had so much fun preparing his room and now we can't wait to put him in it! I go in there often and just stare at the room. The colors of the room are green and black. I LOVE IT! Most of the stuff in the room is from Etsy. Gotta love Etsy. ;)

We got the shelves at Target - The picture frame was made by my mom - my sister got the letters and painted them black - the sock monkey is from etsy - the football and car are a little touch of his daddy, we did add another car to that shelf, he has a silver Mustang and a red Camaro

Monday Madness! Pint Sized Designs

As many of you know I am expecting my second child anyday now. When I started planning the nursery I knew exactly what I wanted! I wanted wooden rocket and planets for one of the walls. When I found this store on Etsy, I contacted her and asked if she had ever made a rocket. And it just happened that the rocket and planets were on her to do list. She was about to start working on her first rocket set. I was so excited! She worked with me and made everything so perfect and in the colors I wanted. I fell in love with the rocket and planets when I received them in the mail. The quality of her work is amazing! She took her time and put a lot of care into her work. Busy Bee

Do you ever find yourself so busy that you never have time to just spend time with each other? That's how I feel it's been around here. Hubby works a lot during the day and has a second job on Thursday after his regular job. I work at my church on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays. Then when we are home, I am always cleaning something, cooking, doing laundry or dishes... Hubby has to mow yard and so forth. Every Friday afternoon when he gets home I try to get our stuff together to go to the beach for a bit. Little man loves to play on the sand and water. Last week we tried but the forecast called for rain that never came. lol SO I really want to take him this weekend bc baby will be here soon and we won't be able to go for a while. BUT Friday hubby has to mow the yard. :/ So maybe Saturday morning? I sure hope so!!!
