We had a great Easter Weekend. I made a yummy cake, we had a declicious dinner, went to church, did our own egg hunt, and enjoyed family time. It was great!

I made a marble cake with chocolate frosting - I kept it simple. :)

Easter Treats

So I am the kind of mom that likes to do fun stuff for my kids. Since little man started school this year, I started doing little treats for the kids in his class. I did it for Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day, and now for Easter. I found these cute little boxes at the dollar store. I put some Easter chocolate and 1 Easter egg filled with jelly beans in each box. It was very inexpensive and super cute!

I think most of your guys know that I have a love/hate relationship with sweets. I love it, but my hips don't. lol My weakness is brownies and ice cream. Oh and of course, anything chocolate. hahaha! How am I supposed to lose any weight when I can't give up the heavenly goodness that is chocolate? :) How do you guys give up stuff that you like? Can you? I need some tips of healthy ways to indulge in my sweet cravings without gaining weight. hahaha

Family Dates

This past weekend daddy got us some tickets to a kids show. I was super excited! So we spent the morning chilling out. Actually hubby woke up with the kids and let me sleep in til almost 10. He's so awesome! I needed that rest being that I've had this horrible headache. So after nap time we went to our show. Little man was stoked! And I was surprised both kids sat still the whole time. Hubby and I really enjoyed it. AND we just love family dates. After the show we went to dinner at one of our favorite places and on Saturdays kids eat free. hehehe. How awesome is that? The evening ended with a quick trip to the mall because little man needed some shorts (he is growing way too fast). And after that, hubby bought me a treat - a Starbucks Mocha. YUMMMMM!!! I had been craving it for days and hate spending money on treats for myself. lol Anyway, this month the kids are sure getting spoiled and I am really enjoying it! Hubby and I really enjoy being with our children and love doing fun things with them! What do you guys like to do with your kids?

When I went to her website here. Oh my goodness. She has LOADS of cute stuff. I went totally nuts. I ended up getting the boys Easter baskets. Feeding Baby Boy

Baby Boy is now outgrowing baby food. Man, time goes by so fast. So far he has enjoyed different fruits and veggies, cheese, vienna sausages, crackers, and several others. BUT he doesn't seem to like pasta. I tried pastas and the pasta pick up. He didn't like it. I think this part of the growing up period is so hard. I have a difficult time coming up with things for him to eat. Oh he also likes grilled cheese sandwiches. He eats those up!!! We just started so I still have a few things I want to try. I just don't want him to be a picky eater like little man is. lol What do you guys suggest I try? Any easy things that he can eat by himself?

I recently realized how special I am. Yep. I am. Not only was I chosen to be a mom, but I was chosen to be a mom of boys! And boy it takes a special kind of woman to be a mom of boys! My boys sure do keep me busy and on my toes. I love every minute of it! From playing with cars to rocket ships and dinosaurs. There's nothing better! Little man is all boy. He loves his cars. He can tell makes and some models. And his obsession lies with "race cars" also known as camaros or mustangs. It's pretty funny. He also loves his rocket ship and his dinosaurs. When we play in his room he goes from toy to toy making sure we spend time playing with everything. Baby boy is following in his brother's footsteps. He loves cars too. He enjoys pushing them around as he crawls. It's so amazing to see the boys playing together and watching their little imaginations at work. Little man plays so well with his little brother. It melts my heart to see him being a big brother! I am so thankful that I get to be a mom and I get these 2 precious gifts!

I can't believe it, but it's time for me to start planning baby boy's 1st birthday party. Can you believe it? I know I have til June, however, I do like to plan ahead. I am planning on a circus theme. The first thing I got for it was the cutest birthday hats! It's even personalized. I fell in love with the hats that Party Accessories offers.
