Going on Etsy to find baby stuff is always a load of fun. There are some great stores out there but this store is totally awesome. 2 Cool 4 School

So my little man has started school. I was really sad all weekend because this means he is growing so fast. BUT when we went to pick him up I realized how much fun he had. He didn't want to leave and has been talking about it ALL day long. He's only going 3 days a week so the days he is home I am working with him. This week he is learning about the letter A. So this morning we spent 30 minutes on projects with the letter A.

The day started very early for me. I got up to make little man his favorite breakfast - pancakes! He was very excited. These were yummy!!!

Daddy took the day off to drop him off at school.


Little man was SUPER excited!

So far so good. The school is amazing and the teachers are AWESOME! I am so thankful that we are able to do this for little man. And I am so glad that he likes it so much!

Browsing through etsy is always SO much fun. I found this cute store called GraceLea's Creations on esty the other day. She has great clothing for kids. She made my baby boy a green longall with his monnogram on it. It is very cute and he will be wearing it next month when the weather starts getting cooler. It's perfect because he can wear it without a shirt or with one. GraceLea's Creations also has great outfits for little girls. A Mommy's Life

I LOVE BEING A MOMMY! :)

You know how people say enjoy every minute of your kids' life and being a mommy? Well, I don't just enjoy it - I cherish it. It's just such a blessing to be a mom. I don't take any minute of it for granted. There are so many women out there that dream of this and I get to do it twice. :) I am truly blessed.

Today baby boy had his check up and shots. He is in the 95th percentile and is doing so well! I felt like a proud mommy! The doctor kept telling me what a great job I am doing. And that is such a good thing to hear. I don't need compliments but it sure is nice. :)

I just love my sons and love being their mommy!

A while ago I posted an entry about the Disney cartoon Phineas and Ferb. Have you seen it?
It is soooo entertaining. My husband and I watch it all the time and our 3 year old son loves it! I even bought him a Phineas and Ferb shirt. lol He would wear it every day if I let him. hehehe. Well, the other day I went to Target and found a Perry the Platypus on sale. OF COURSE I had to get it. hahaha. My son LOVE it. The best part about it is that he transforms from Perry to Agent P. But my son likes to carry him around as Perry - it's his pet Platypus. :)
If you have never watched this cartoon, I highly recommend it. It's on the Disney channel. lol

Fall is my FAVORITE time of the year. I always decorate my house, get fall candles, and more. I just LOVE the season. SO I realized my boys needed something cute and fallish to wear. Birthday Weekend!

This weekend I take a closer step to the big 30. I cannot believe that in a few more years I will be 30. When I was littleI thought 40 was old - now not so much as I will soon be approaching it. lol I am blessed to share my birthday with my best friend, who is also my twin sister. :) She is amazing. She is always there for me whenever I need her. She is a great sister, a great friend and a great auntie to my boys. God really blessed me with her! So sister, happy birthday to us! Enjoy your weekend! :)

Attack!

This little guy attacked my 6'3" husband.

So my hubby was outside mowing the lawn and all of a sudden this snake attacked him. Needless to say the snake got beheaded. lol My hubby is very scared of snakes and doesn't like to take chances. I would have done the same thing. Our little boy plays on the yard and loves to run on the grass so we don't like taking chances. Better safe than sorry.

Then we found out from our neighbors that we also have foxes that come around. And I've seen rabbits. We have a nature preserve behind our house so that's where they are coming from. :)

I am the kind of person that LOVES having candles or tarts in my house. I love having a good smell in my house. I have recently been introduced to Auntie Di's Shop. I got some tarts from her and I LOVE it. She has so many great scents, it's hard to choose a favorite. I do like her cookies and cream one. :) Check out her shop here. After I had the baby I wanted to find a super cute dress to wear when I go on my first outing with the hubby. I set out to find one on Etsy. And guess what??? I found the PERFECT on in this super cute store called Sea of Tales. It's a raspberry color and it is super comfortable and beautiful. It fit sooo well. Smoothie Goodness!

So we are trying to take the healthy route in our eating habits. Hubby and I both need to lose some weight and get healthier... We're eating lots of veggies and cutting back on our starch. And hubby decided to make smoothies for us. OH MY GOSH! It was sooo good. He used real strawberries and bananas, and fat free vanilla yogurt and added some ice - threw it in a blender and voila! I was so impressed. Even our 3 year old liked it. This weeked we are going to try to make a mango/pineapple smoothie. Can't wait!!!

Have you noticed that MOST infomercials tell you a price but the scream out BUT WAIT call now and get this or that or we'll double your offer. lol

So most nights I have to get up in the wee hours to nurse baby boy. In order to stay awake, I go to the family room, turn the TV on and let him nurse. I thought that during the day they showed a lot of infomercials, but at night it's 10 times worse. There are some weird items out there for sale. I'm sure you've seem some of them, Space Bags, Pillow Pets, Butterfly Garden and so forth. Ok, so during the day you see the house stuff infomercials and then a LOT of kid stuff that is purely junk. The other night I saw one that totally floored me. It is for an item called Booty Pop. Have you seen it? It's like this padded underwear looking thing to shape your booty. Seriously? It does not look comfortable at all. Check it out here.
