1 Month

Baby Boy turned 1 month olf this past weekend. I cannot believe it. Time flies when you're having fun! He is changing so much. He recognizes our voices and stares at you. He is so sweet and amazing. I made him cupcakes to celebrate his 1 month birthday. We enjoyed them for him. lol

Afternoon Showers

Every summer we have several afternoon storms! I really enjoy them as long as I am indoors. I also don't like the lightning. BUT I do love to hear the rain. We've had several wild storms here these last few days. This afternoon, the skies got really dark and it rained for a good while. AND what is the best thing to do during a storm? NAP! :) I love taking naps during a storm. I got some much needed rest. I am so thankful the boys took a nap so that I could catch up on sleep. lol

When I saw this Etsy store I went crazy. She has SOOOO many cute clothes. She is a seamstress that loves to sew for children and babies. When you go to her store, if you do not see anything you like contact her and she will work with you to make your baby or child a special outfit. YUMMY

I made this DELICIOUS dinner. It was SO good. I had to force myself to stop eating. lol I used thin spaghetti. Then I sauteed small pieces of tomatoes with olive oil and italian seasoning. Once the pasta was cooked I mixed the tomatoes with the pasta. I also made chicken strips and put swiss cheese on top with more of the tomato mixture. Oh my, it was so good! I was going to make garlic bread but I didn't feel like it. lol Anyway, I was very impressed with myself because it was an easy dinner and came out so good. :)

Mommyhood

I totally LOVE LOVE LOVE being a wife and mommy. I've always dreamed of marrying my prince charming and having children. And now here I am - living the dream. :) Baby boy is perfect from head to toe! Big brother is totally enjoying him too. I love being a family of 4! I feel so complete - my heart is soooo full of joy and love. I love my boys - I love being a mom of boys. No matter how many sleepless nights (there have been many) I go through, I am extremely thankful for this opportunity. I am so thankful that I get to be a mom to these 2 very special boys! My favorite part is in the mornings when I get to cuddle with both of them. It's so sweet!

When I found this store on Etsy I totally fell in love. She has the CUTEST girl clothes I have ever seen. I convoed her and she was the nicest person to work with. She made a smock outfit for me and I got it in the mail in no time. The quality of her work is AMAZING! She specializes in handmade, custom- boutique style clothing for girls from 6 months to 8 years old.

She loves to sew dresses and loves to smock. She is very particular about the fabrics she uses when it comes to smocked and heirloom dresses.

Her mission is for her clothing to be unique. Meaning that these dresses or outfits are designed as one of a kind or few of a kind.

Happy 4th of July

Just wanted to wish everyone a HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! I am so thankful to be part of this amazing nation. I love the USA and love being an American. Being that I am still recovering from my c-section, we will stay put for the holidays. I may talk the hubby into taking us to see fireworks. How about you? What are your plans for the Holiday?
